The Crucible is an item added by the Ex Nihilo Adscensio mod which allows players to turn Cobblestone into Lava with a heat source underneath. A torch underneath the crucible is the minimum required heat, where other sources will increase the speed of lava production.
To use the Crucible the player must simply right click it with four (4) blocks of cobblestone, and provide a heat source for it underneath the Crucible. The Crucible can hold up to 4 blocks of cobblestone, which convert to a single bucket of lava, and can hold up to 4 buckets of lava.
The Crucible cannot be spawned with the /give command as it uses the same idname as the Unfired Crucible
