Cactus Seed is one of the several seeds added by the Ex Nihilo Adscensio. It has 3% chance to drop when sieving Sand with a String Mesh, and 6% chance to drop when sieving Sand with a Flint Stiffened Mesh.
It can be planted on Sand to place a regular Cactus block, provided there are no blocks next to it that prevent cacti being placed.
