Creative Chest Generator is a tool item added by Random Things mod. It is used to spawn loot chests that would normally be found in generated structures. Pressing Shift right-click cycles through the kind of chest this tool spawns. It has infinite durability and is intended for testing modpack / map design, similar to the Creative Grower and Creative Sword.
