Red Gem ore is found easily on the planet Jupiter. It is found near bedrock level, easily mined between y-level 5-8. Get to y-level 5 and use a Volcanic Pickaxe (found on planet Venus as part of Galacticraft 4) to quickly mine chunks out, eventually mining into a cave system around this y level. (40 minutes of mining in a cave system led to 53 red gem ore) This ore comes in veins up to 6, most commonly 2, and must be smelted into Red Gem. Red Gem can be used to make fairly decent swords and armour, swords dealing 10.5 damage as opposed to diamond dealing 7. All armour and tools are enchantable.
