Primordial Pearl is an item added by the Thaumcraft 6 mod. It can:
- Drop when closing Rifts
- Drop from Giant Taintacle
- Drop from bosses in Eldritch Dimension (As of 6.1.BETA26 Eldritch Dimension still is not implentended)
It is used to craft strong equipment, espesially in Thaumcraft's addons. When it is used in crafting, it loses its durability. After it reaches 5 durability, it changes its name and texture into Primordial Nodule, and, on 2 durability, Primordial Mote.

Primordial Pearls
For the first time I find myself with a puzzle that I do not think can be solved.
This object contains pure primal aspects, but they posses properties unlike what I consider normal, everyday primal aspects. I have a few theories why this could be:
Firstly this "pearl" could be the remnants of the primal matter that was created at the dawn of reality - elementary magic that existed before it mingled and merged into compound aspects.
Alternatively it could be primal matter from a place that does not conform to the known rules of magic as you have come to understand it. I'm not sure what explanation is more worrying.
Either way, the pearl is a potent artifact containing vast magical power and nearly unlimited potential.
It is fairly rare to find a whole one though. Often they have degenerated into nodules or even motes. Even a mote is valuable though.
