The Ender Quarry is a low-lag quarry added by Extra Utilities. It improves upon the Quarry in many ways that benefit server players. For instance, the Ender Quarry only chunkloads the chunk that it is currently mining in. This works nicely because the Ender Quarry mines one column at a time, replacing it with dirt and leaving no empty spaces, so it will spend a longer period of time in a single chunk before moving on, unloading the previous chunk and loading the next.

There are two ways to set up the area for the Ender Quarry. The first is to outline the area you wish to mine with vanilla Minecraft fences, and then replacing one fence with the Ender Quarry. Or you can use ender marker. After the Ender Quarry and fences are in place simply right click the Ender Quarry and the boundary will be set. The second is to place Ender-Markers at the corners of the area you wish to mine, then place the Ender Quary next to one of the markers, or the interior marker if you only used three. The last thing to do is place an item with an inventory or Tesseract adjacent to the Ender Quarry, and power it. If there is no space in the inventory the Quarry will stop and use no power, and when there is more space the quarry will begin again. When the Quarry is working, you will see a purple particle effect above the block that the quarry is currently mining. When finished, the Ender Quarry will no longer draw power, and when right clicked will say "Quarry is Finished," another benefit over the Quarry.

The Ender Quarry will examine and exchange just below one block per second for every 100 RF/t fed into it (tested with up to 650 RF/t), for example using 400 RF/t should have it cover about 3.5-4 blocks per second.

The formula used to determine the cost per tick is as follows:

baseDrain + hardness * hardnessDrain * getPowerMultiplier()
baseDrain = 1800
hardness = block hardness
hardnessDrain = 200
getPowerMultiplier() = whatever upgrade blocks you have attached

The ender quarry has no limit but it only chunk loads 1 chunk at a time so it is even suitable for servers because it doesn't create lag.

Bug[edit]

When crafting the Ender Quarry do not use Enchanted books that don't have an Enchant Title. If you use a book without an Enchant Title your client will crash.
