Creosote Oil is produced by burning Coal or Wood in a Coke Oven. In mod versions for Minecraft 1.5, Sugar, Sugar Charcoal, Cactus, and Cactus Charcoal were added to the list of fuels for the Coke Oven that produce Creosote Oil.

The Creosote Oil can be removed from the Coke Oven in any of 3 ways. It can be piped out using Buildcraft Pipes or Liquiduct. It may also be removed by placing Cans, Wax Capsules,Glass Bottle, or Buckets into the upper righthand inventory slot in the Coke Oven GUI. Finally the Creosote Oil can be removed by right clicking on the Coke Oven with an empty container in the players hand.

Creosote Oil can be stored in Tanks, Iron Tanks, Steel Tanks, and Portable Tanks.

Uses[edit]

Creosote Oil can be used as fuel to produce 3,000 EU in a Semifluid Generator at 8 EU/t or 12,500 EU in a Generator at 10 EU/t.

It can be used as fuel to produce 3,200 heat (4,800 in Minecraft 1.5 versions) in a Steam Boiler.

As a fuel it produces 2MJ/t for 2,500t in a Biogas Engine.

Also it can be used to process 25 items in a Furnace.
