Wireless Modem is a block added by the ComputerCraft mod. It may be attached to a computer as a peripheral (sneak and right click a computer side) or crafted with a Turtle to make a Wireless Turtle. It allows other wireless computers and wireless turtles entities to communicate with each other through Rednet. At sea level the modem has a maximum range of 64 metres in clear weather or 16 metres in a storm. However, as of 1.4, modem range increases with altitude with a maximum of 384 metres at height limit.
