Fiery Essence is an item added by the Hardcore Ender Expansion mod.
Its main use is to turn a Basic Essence Altar into Fiery Essence Altar by right-clicking the altar with the Fiery Essence. The Altar will then request 8 randomly chosen fire themed items from its list of options, one at a time. These must be fed into it to complete the upgrade. After that, it is possible to insert Fiery Essence into the Altar by right-clicking. It is then used as a fuel for the Fiery Essence Altar to function.

Obtaining
Fiery Essence is a renewable resource. It is dropped by mobs in the Burning Mountains biome upon death, making it possible to set up an automated farm to harvest Fiery Essence.
