  • Support.png Support — Despite the negativity anything the Yogscast does and due to that their Yognaughts following, the Yognaughts all switching over to Feed the Beast can only be a good thing, more users means more money, more money means continued support of modpacks and continued expansions and even quicker updates. • Neutral.png Neutral — Are we featuring modpacks now? I thought this was mods only. --Artsja (talk) 17:23, 2 April 2013 (CEST)
  • Oppose.png Oppose — Indeed, it is a whole modpack, not a single mod >_> OstPavel (talk) 18:49, 3 April 2013 (CEST)
  • Oppose.png Oppose — Your reasoning is great, and I fully agree, but I have to oppose this because it takes away from the spirit of featured mod.

  • Neutral.png Neutral — The top of the page here says modpacks can be nominated as well for Featured Mod. Not sure how I feel about the YogCraft pack being nominated. I've got mixed feelings about this, but I felt it prudent to point this out. Leaving my vote as Neutral for the time being. DigitallyApocalyptic (talk) 03:03, 5 April 2013 (CEST)
It was discussed that the Featured Mod and the Featured Modpack would be combined into one thing since there were so few modpacks, I believe you were there at the time of discussion Artsja, also as Digi says, the top of the page says that this is for featuring both mods and modpacks. • Oppose.png Oppose — I think featuring Modpacks without any exclusive mods is a bit silly and redundant. The RPG Immersion pack I could see, since it has unique stuff to it, but Yogcraft? It's just a light version of DireWolf or Mindcrack. Embri (talk) 04:48, 5 April 2013 (CEST)

While it was discussed to merge the Featured Mods and Featured Modpacks, since we just have one Featured showing at a time on the main page I will be changing my mind about that split. For that matter we might as well have two Featured Articles even. So I say we should split Featured Modpacks from Featured Mods and take the two highest voted Featured Articles and feature them both, thoughts? I don't see much point in featuring modpacks, personally. There aren't that many, so it would quickly end up being "what is left to feature" or showcasing the same packs over and over. It's somewhat akin to extolling the virtues of the disposable shrink wrap, while ignoring the product inside. Wouldn't mind seeing more than one featured article, though. You can always refeature something. User Page. ƒelinoel_Contributions 17:13, 6 April 2013 (CEST)
Of course, but wouldn't it make more sense to showcase new things people may not have seen before, that are worthy of attention? Embri (talk) 22:45, 6 April 2013 (CEST)
Featured Modpacks would be separated from Featured Mods, the new thing people may not have seen before would still be showcased. ƒelinoel ~ (Talk) 05:34, 7 April 2013 (CEST)
I guess I just don't see much point in featuring the modpacks since they're always on the front page as it is. n_n; Embri (talk) 05:46, 7 April 2013 (CEST)
I guess I can understand that, they will still be feature-able as articles though. So I know what I am voting for next month. ƒelinoel ~ (Talk) 06:17, 7 April 2013 (CEST)
