The Tuberous Jetpack is a novelty Jetpack added by Simply Jetpacks.
It reassembles a potato with some wires and a hole in it. It is the cheapest Jetpack available in this mod. It can be charged using an Energetic Infuser or another machine that can provide RF charging. It can hold up to 1200 RF.
The item description reads: Clever! But not survivable. (In older versions it reads: Note: Flying potatoes is a deadly practice.) When equipped, the item shoots the player up into the air and explodes like a firework after about a second of flight time, leaving a baked potato and the death message: "(Player Name) attempted to fly a potato". The explosion does not destroy blocks.
Note that because the Tuberous Jetpack is an armor piece, it is possible for a Zombie to pick one up and wear it, which will result in the Zombie taking a short and explosive flight. If you can find a Zombie that will pick up items (only some do), you can use this to watch the effects of the Tuberous Jetpack without using it yourself. Note that the baked potato will not drop if the jetpack is used by a non-player.
