Nodal Mechanics is a small addon for Thaumcraft 4 mod, which gives the player ability to create Aura Nodes.

It adds only one research in the first tab of the Thaumonomicon.

"By applying your knowledge of nodes and warded jars, you have successfully devised a method of catalyzing the formation of new nodes.

By attuning a freshly crafted blank node matrix towards any combination of essentia to provide the seed for a node's growth, you can then infuse it with a large amount of compatible vis to spark the node's growth."

Creating Node Matrix[edit]

Unattuned Node Matrix is a crafting component for the future Aura Node.

For this recipe each Phial of Essentia has to be a different Primal Aspect. This recipe will attune the Attuned Node Matrix to 1 of each Primal Aspect.

NOTE; Either of these recipes can be mixed and matched to create whatever primal aspects in a node that you wish, to a max of any 8 primal aspect points. When infusing it takes 150 essentia for each point of primal vis in the matrix.

For this recipe all Phials of Essentia have to be the same aspect, any of the Primal Aspects. This recipe will attune the Attuned Node Matrix to 8 of this aspect.

Creating Aura Node[edit]

For each type of Attuned Node Matrix a different Aura Node can be created. All Aura Nodes created this way will have default parameters, they will not be Hungry, Dark, Pure, Unstable, Tainted, Fading, Pale or Bright.

This recipe has to be done to the Attuned Node Matrix which is attuned to 1 of each Primal Aspect. The Node in a Jar will have 15 of each Primal Aspect.

This recipe has to be done to the Attuned Node Matrix which is attuned to 8 of any Primal Aspect. The Node in a Jar will have 120 of this Primal Aspect.
Ignis
can be substituted with other primal aspects for different nodes. Note that the aspect the Attuned Node Matrix is attuned to has to match the aspect needed for the infusion.
