The Chance Icosahedron is a 20-sided version of the chance cube with a question mark on each side, and changes color. Upon right-clicking the Chance Icosahedron, it will start to spin and slowly lift upward before shattering and rolling a random outcome.
The Chance Icosahedron has a chance from spawning from one of the positive Chance Cube outcomes. It cannot be crafted.
Possible Outcomes[edit]
The Chance Icosahedron shares possible outcomes with the regular Chance Cube, except by default it will only select the most extreme positive and negative outcomes.
In the Skyfactory 3 modpack, the Chance Icosahedron has been set to have regular Chance Cube values, see that page for possible outcomes.
The following are the extreme outcomes that the Chance Icosahedron will yield by default:
Positive:
- Drop a valuable item (Enchanted diamond sword, enchanting table)
- Drop a diamond block from the sky after 10 seconds
Negative:
- Summoning a Wither
- Cause a medium explosion
