Crystalline Charger is an item added by the Arcane Engineering mod. It is an upgrade to any wand which was made from Treated Stick as a wand core. It can be applied to the wand in Engineer's Workbench. When this upgrade is equipped, the wand will recharge its Vis overtime to full capacity. Up to 4 of these upgrades can be installed, increasing the recharging speed.

"Cystal shards have a strong connection to the aura. Ancient thaumaturges discovered that the crystals could even drain vis from the aura to grow in size. Using the aura-draining properties of a primal crystal shard, you've created a wand upgrade that drains vis from the aura instead of nodes. The upgrade can be applied to treated wood wands in an engineer's workbench. The effect stacks with multiple upgrades."
