The Constraint Metal Ore is a worldgen ore added by the AcademyCraft mod and the source of the mod's custom alloy used in late-game electronics and machine framing.
Mining the block with a Stone Pickaxe or better drops the ore itself, which is then refined in the Metal Former in Refine mode to produce two Constraint Metal Ingots per block. The ingot is in turn pressed into a Constraint Metal Plate for use in the mod's higher-tier crafting recipes.
Natural generation
Constraint Metal Ore generates only in the Overworld, in any biome, in vein clusters of up to twelve blocks. AcademyCraft attempts eight placements per chunk, each picking a uniformly random Y coordinate between 0 and 59, so the ore is spread fairly evenly across the lower two thirds of the build height with no preference for caves, deep slate or surface stone.
Block distribution
Because each placement rolls a uniform random Y in [0, 59], the histogram of generated blocks is essentially flat across that range and zero above it.
