for who loves greg, this pack is defently easier then greg intended. you dont know what greg is.. your prolly better off moving to a other pack, ftb monster prolly be more your thing

you can basicly skip the bronze age making your (first) steel with thermal expansion. regarding documentation, yeah there's not much about it. but nei tells you basically everything you need to know. this also not the first pack that uses greg 5.(beyond reality witch is much harder then greg intended and has some documentation!)

tho theres a big difference between the greg in ultimate and this pack. gregtech ultimate = just a addon on ic2 gregtech this version = standalone. pushes away ic2, its own energy system, lets take over everything. and make it harder. (mod author has done a great job trying to fix this)

pack is fairly more heavy then most (ftb) packs youll need a hvy machine,

multilayer wise the normal stuff is wrong with it, it doesn't qualify as a large server(yet). binnie core is basicly lagtastic on chunk generation and fairly outdated.

for the rest of it. it feels like ultimate! well done.

due to the lack of itemducts and conduits .. enderio could replace this no reactor in gregtech, bigreactors could replace this.

for a 1.7.x pack this is quite nicely done, like most packs, alot of the mods are beta/gamma versions and you can expect strange bugs. yet way more stabile then previous versions with no beta's

start tips.. find a village steal the roling machine/hobiest engine.. Build a thermal expansion smelter, cook some steel.. get into the electric age by building a basic steam turbine.. ic2 kinetic windpower is great from this point. :) you get to skip DAYS of play this way. and never bother about the stacks of bronze.

sugestions replace computercraft with opencomputers. why? honors protections better, interacts with other objects better. developer alot more transparent and open /w licence get rid of extra bee's, go with the gendustry addon's with eye on performance. tune down the tainted biomes. they everywhere!, finding some flat land without taint close is a big challange, your better off building in the sea tobe save Mfr machines are way toslow. the harvaster takes 4 minecraft days to chop a big oak down at full power!
