Omni Buffer is a block added by the EnderIO mod that combines the functionality of a Power Buffer and an Item Buffer. The only difference is fitting both into one block's worth of space. The Omni Buffer retains the Item Buffer's Hopper-like ability to hold items while automatically pushing, pulling, or both to connected inventories, and the Power Buffer's energy limiting throttle and power network splitting effects. Like all EnderIO machines, each face is individually configurable and it has four redstone sensitivity settings; Active with signal, Active without signal, Always active, or Never active.
After MC v1.7.10, the Omni Buffer's power capacity and max throughput is determined by the installed capacitor:
| Capacitor | Max I/O | Storage |
|---|---|---|
| 2,500 RF | 100k RF | |
| 7,500 RF | 300k RF | |
| 22,500 RF | 500k RF |
