Flax is a plant from IndustrialCraft2 that grows on Crops. It can only be obtained by cross-breeding plants.
The easest way to obtain it is to use crossbreeding combinations Stickreed + Stickreed or Reed + Reed. There are crossbreeding combinations with a higher probability of success, but they require rare plants (see table).
It requires a light level of 9 or higher to grow.
It produces String as a harvest.
