FTB Library is a core library mod by the FTB Team. It provides shared code used by other FTB mods such as FTB Chunks and FTB Quests, so installing it on its own adds little to gameplay. Most players install it as a dependency for one of the larger FTB mods.
The mod also adds a small set of utility commands. The most notable is /ftblibrary nbtedit, which opens an in-game browser and editor for the NBT data of the currently held item, the block the player is looking at, or a targeted entity.
