In IndustrialCraft2, Storage Boxes are upgraded variants of standard chests. The key advantage of IC2 Storage Boxes is that they retain their inventory when broken. However, you must use a Wrench or Electric Wrench (a pickaxe works too, but a wrench is faster) to harvest them properly; otherwise, if you try to loot them with your bare hands, they'll break and won't drop anything. (exept Wooden. It can harvest any tool)
