The Philosopher's Stone is an item from Equivalent Exchange 3. It is the "perfect" form of the Minium Stone. So far, there is no legitimate way to obtain this item, and there is no recipe within NEI. When using the Philosopher's Stone in game, it functions basically as a higher-durability Minium Stone; it substitutes for the Minium Stone in every recipe, but lasts far longer. The durability level of each stone can be changed further in the EE3 config file. The Philosopher's Stone can be used 10001 times before breaking. Also, it has its own 3x3 crafting grid.
