The Brew of Insect Bane is an item added by the Witchery mod. It is a second level Custom Brew effect that can be bottled as all brew types, Liquid, Instant, Gas, and Trigger. The brew grants the target the Bane of Arthropods enchant, which deals an additional 2.5 hearts of health per strength of the brew to mobs like spiders, cave spiders, silverfish, and endermites. Stronger power brews will grant higher versions of the buff. As with most Custom Brews, this brew effect can be combined with other custom brew effects as long as the brew has enough Capacity.
